Expertise / Web and marketing
From strategy to acquisition. One connected system.
Web and marketing create more value when positioning, website, channels, content and conversion are designed as parts of the same journey.
I start with the business objective and the audience we need to reach, then design the system and select the tools required to turn attention into real opportunities.
I do not start with channels
SEO, advertising, social media, email or content can all be useful. None of them is automatically the answer.
First we need to understand who we want to reach, what we want to achieve and what path a person should follow before becoming a meaningful opportunity.
I do not start with the channel I want to use. I start with the audience we need to reach, the outcome we want and the most effective path to get there.
Positioning before visibility
Increasing visibility only makes sense when the company is clear about what it wants to communicate, to whom and with what proposition.
Positioning, message and acquisition are not separate activities. The quality of the first directly influences the effectiveness of the others.
- Proposition
- Audience
- Message
- Coherence
Before increasing visibility, we need to be clear about what we want to make visible.
The website is part of the commercial journey
A website can be a showcase, but in an acquisition system it often needs to do much more.
It should help people understand the proposition, find what they need and take the next step.
When necessary, I work on structure, content, landing pages, calls to action and integrations according to the role the website needs to play in the wider system.
A website should not only represent the company well. It should have a clear role in the journey from interest to commercial opportunity.
Acquisition and conversion need to work together
Traffic alone is not enough.
The strategy needs to consider both how the audience is reached and what happens once people enter the journey.
Channels are selected case by case. Search, advertising, content, email, social and other activities can be used independently or together, but only when they support the objective.
Generating traffic is not enough. You need to design the path that turns attention into opportunity.
A lead is not the end of the journey
When relevant, I also consider what happens after conversion: contact capture, qualification, follow-up, automation and integration with CRM or commercial processes.
The objective is not to over-engineer the marketing process, but to avoid losing the value created during acquisition immediately afterwards.
Acquisition does not end when a lead arrives.
Observe, understand, improve
An acquisition system should be measurable enough to understand what is working and where intervention is useful.
Data and measurement support decisions and help the journey evolve over time.
Measurement should improve decisions, not simply produce more numbers.
Different tools. One logic.
SEO, campaigns, content, email, social, automation, CRM and technology can all play different roles depending on the project.
They are not the starting point.
They are tools to use when they help build a more effective system.
SEO · Campaigns · Content · Email · Social · Automation · CRM · Technology
A channel is selected because the journey needs it, not because it belongs in a package.
Is your marketing a collection of separate activities, or a system that works together?
We can start from what already exists and identify where the journey loses effectiveness, what can be better connected and which interventions are actually worth making.
